Lendie P. (Kinnard) Smith

Lendie P. Smith, age 85, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Sterling Hills Rehab.  

Her wishes were cremation.  No services are planned at this time.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.  

Lendie was born on January 27, 1939 in Caps, Texas to Durman Burl and Lottie (Sherman) Kinnard.  She worked as an Emergency Room Nurse for Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital before retiring.  She was a Chrisitian.  

She is survived by two sons, John David Smith and wife Bonnie of Sweetwater, Texas, and Mark Smith and wife Teresa of Sweetwater, Texas, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister, Ann Henderson of Colorado, brother, Micky Kinnard and wife Trish of Albany, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Bobbie Pierson, and great grandson, DeMarcus Gage.
