Linda Joyce (Morrision) Wilson

Linda Joyce Wilson, age 75, of Aspermont, Texas, (Former resident of Blackwell, Texas), passed away on Friday, January l4, 2022 at Stonewall Memorial Hospital in Aspermont, Texas.  

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Burtis Williams officiating.  Burial will follow at Blackwell Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.  

Linda was born on May 13, l946 in Wilmeth, Texas to Phillip and Ida Leola (Smith) Morrison.  She worked as a seamstress for many years.  She was a member of View Baptist Church.  

She is survived by her four children, Carla Jo McKee and husband Kevin of Lubbock, Texas, Debbie Chance of Abilene, Texas, Joe Dale Chance of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Andy Wayne Chance of Amarillo, Texas, numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Ida Leola Morrison, husband, Ray Wilson, son, Brady (Scooter) Chance, daughter-in-law, Michelle Chance, daughter-in-law, Kellie Chance, grandson, James Chance, great grandson, Luke Killough, and six sisters and one brother.  

Pallbearers will be Allen Wells, Ike Young, Alex Filorio, Patrick Bruton, Monty Young, and Jimmy Martin.
