Mary Lou Montemayor

Mary Lou Montemayor, age 60, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 at her residence.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 P.M., Friday, January 1, 2021 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Neil Montemayor officiating. . Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Mary Lou was born on December 4, 1960 in Muleshoe, Texas to Edward S. and Estela (Perez) Montemayor. She worked as a caregiver for Home Health Care for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Monique Sellers and husband John, Jr. of Odessa, Texas, son, Neil Brown and wife Cassandra of Rockwall, Texas, five grandchildren, Aaliyah, Ava Jewel, Mila, Brooklyne, and Ryan, sister, Yolanda Ruiz and husband Lorenzo of Sweetwater, Texas, and Ruby Brown and husband Thomas of Odessa, Texas, brothers, Neil Montemayor and wife Liz of Sweetwater, Texas and Edward Montemayor of Dallas, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward S. & Estela Montemayor.
