Miguel Angel Ramirez

Miguel Angel Ramirez, age 43, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021.  

A prayer vigil will be held 6:30 P.M., Friday, July 16, 2021 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon David Mendez officiating, followed by a  rosary at 7:00 P.M., recited by Deacon David Mendez.  

Holy Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Holy Spirit Catholic Parish with Father Nilo Nalugon officiating.  Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.  

Miguel was born June 25, 1978 in Dallas, Texas  to Ricky and Gloria (Cuevas) Ramirez.  He was a Sweetwater High School graduate.  He worked for Ichiban Japanese Steak House in San Angelo, Texas.  Miguel always believed in putting a smile on someone's face and giving back to others.  

He is survived by his father, Ricky Ramirez and wife Carmen of Sweetwater, Texas, brother, Elias Ramirez and wife Melissa of San Angelo, Texas, sisters, Louann Ramirez of Rockwall, Texas, Erica Guerrero and husband Edward of Midland, Texas, and Sarah Renteria and husband Chris of Georgia, grandmother, Susie Ramirez of Sweetwater, Texas, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Ramirez, maternal grandparents, Miguel Cuevas Orta, and Petra Cuevas, paternal grandfather, Ysidro Ramirez, and uncle, Richard Ramirez.  
 
Pallbearers will be Lamar Blueford, Elias Ramirez, Jr.,  Jakoby Ramirez,  Rudy Garza, Freddy Ramirez, and Bobby Soto.
