Rita (Martinez) Limones

Rita Limones, age 96 of Sweetwater, Texas passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at her residence.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Pantion Municipal Cemetery in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico under the direction of Memoial Funeral Home. Local Arrangements by Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Rita was born on May 22, 1924 in Piedras Negras, Coahuilia, Mexico to Antonio and Virginia (Luis) Martinez. She was a Catholic and a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Maggie Zapata and husband Jose Cruz Pardes of Sweetwater, Texas and Maria Marquez and Gilberto of Eagle Pass, Texas, four sons, Juan Manuel Limones and wife Josefina of Houston, Texas, Alejandro Limones and wife Rita of Sweetwater, Texas, Gilberto Antonio Limones and wife Hilda of Mexico, and Fidel Limones and wife Elvira of San Saba, Texas, twenty eight grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and one sister, Guadalupe Martinez of Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gilberto Limones, two grandchildren, Maria Zapata, and Jose Enrique Zapata, two brothers and two sisters.
