Wayne Reynolds

Wayne Reynolds, age 66, of Sweetwater, Texas (former longtime resident of Kermit, Texas) passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Sweetwater Healthcare Center.

Per his wishes, his body will be cremated.  No services are planned at this time.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Wayne was born May 19, 1955 in Nocona, Texas to Arvel (Slim) Reynolds and Mary Crawford Reynolds. He was City Manager for the City of Kermit, Texas from 1974 to 2004 when he retired.  He was an avid hunter and loved his family and his grandchildren.  He was a Christian.

He is survived by his son, Matt Reynolds and wife Amber of Midland, Texas,
four grandchildren, Stormy, Lilly, Alex, and Simon,  mother, Mary Reynolds of Kermit, Texas, brothers, Clay Reynolds and Neil Reynolds, both of Kermit, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father,  Arvel (Slim) Reynolds
